Following the hacker attacks against Alex Tew's Milliondollarhomepage and the alleged legal action against Alex Tew by an advertiser, we would like to stress emphatically at this point

We will not be liable for inaccessibility of this website due to force majeure. Such third parties are, among others, ISP's, carriers and hackers who attack this site. But we are trying to keep a possible "Downtime" as short as possible.
Therefore we have planned contingencies:

"go terribly wrong", will the "Downtime" only last as long as it takes to switch the domain
"millionpixel.de" to the name servers of ISP 2.

Bild.T-Online joins the long queue as one of the "biggest and cheekiest" copycats. Regrettably, they do not follow convention to quote the originator of an idea.(see Press) - On the contrary,
one maintains steadfastly that the "Millionpixelsites idea" originates from
Bild.T-Online.

We read in a press release that the so-called Milliondollarhomepage of a certain Alex Tew from England went online on 26 August 2005 and we also had to concede that, in contrast to Alex Tew, we had missed out on proper PR for our site. Since this day it is generally thought that Alex Tew was the first one with the idea for a "Million Pixels" site. Perhaps it is like this or it was a parallel development, perhaps one of our English colleagues "talked" we don't know.

The "Internet Genesis Project" is online! For the time being under the

It was preceded by this story:
It was a warm summer's night at the end of August 2005 around midnight (what other time could one possibly have such ideas), when we thought about how we could position our own websites better on Google without having to buy expensive advertising space with any of the countless businesses.
During Brainstorming the following terms went through our minds:
Pagerank,
Backlinks, BLOGS, #+$$, own directory, %%&, Google, Yahoo,
MSN, Link-Exchange, $(=?!, DMOZ, SEO.
Suddenly, as everybody already wanted to go home in frustration, one of us had an idea we all considered this idea unique and creative. It was capable win people over. It was an idea which, after extensive thought, would encourage others to invest in it. Talking about money is always difficult, but this idea offers value at comparatively little investment and is not subjected to fluctuations. The value of the investment increases constantly with time. Price crashes are highly unlikely, even if several copy-cats will try to jump on this band wagon.
But there is a trademark protected original with oldest start date and the best survival chance. We vouch for that as politicians would phrase it.
